Part of a huge collection of Victorian sheet music which I purchased recently. Do check my shop and auction listings and consider buying more than one to save shipping costs.

"Hunting Song" is a descriptive piece of piano music by Edouard Dorn, number three in his series of “Mountain Memories", all with views of Welsh mountain scenery. The 26.2cm by 34.5cm cover has a detailed chromolithograph illustration of "The Inn at Capel Curig from Moel Siabod", a scene closely based on a known engraving of around 1870. In superb condition with only the most minor signs of wear and complete with all seven pages of music. A great find for any collector of sheet music or Welsh topographical memorabilia.  (Other sheets from this series are also listed this week - combined shipping is available on request before checkout.)

*NB: This sheet was discovered in the archive of the publisher Edwin Ashdown, who traded under that name from 1882 onwards.

Equally, if an item sells for considerably more than expected then you might wish to boost the insurance or the depth of packaging, which will increase the shipping cost.  I am always happy to combine items to reduce the shipping costs for you, but please note that when multiple items reach a high total value I may ask you to insure the package. If you want a service not stated, such as first class or surface mail, please ask for a quote. In all cases please discuss with me before making your payment. The maximum possible level of insurance on items sent overseas with Royal Mail is £250.  If the total value of contents exceeds this figure then you will have to accept the risk of sending the item(s), or choose an alternative courier.
