This small box by Evans Case Company was a practical combination for the stylish lady of the day, with a mirror, powder compact, powder puff, comb, coin holder, lipstick, and cigarette case all combined into one stylish clutch. The gold colored metal exterior has an art deco pattern of squares molded into it, a short oval snake chain handle at the top. One side opens to reveal a mirror, comb holder with clear comb, empty powder compact with latching lid stamped with the Evans shield logo, Evans branded pink powder puff, empty lipstick holder, and coin holder. The other side opens to act as a cigarette case, stamped Evans on the bar. In excellent condition, this vintage treasure includes its original pieces; powder compact and lipstick are now empty, with some remnants of the original makeup possible. Mirror is intact, overall excellent vintage mid-century minaudière with very minimal surface scratching appropriate to age. Please see photos for further information on condition.

Payment:

Payment to confirmed PayPal addresses only, please; no exceptions.  Payment is due within 3 days of the close of the auction.  Payment later than that will interfere with our shipping schedule and may result in your package not being shipped until the next batch. Florida residents, add 7% sales tax or a valid 2023 Florida State Resale certificate. 

Shipping: 

The shipping cost is shown in the shipping section of the listing.  This is the shipping cost you are asked to pay. All prices are based on ACTUAL USPS rates and do not include a handling charge. Sometimes, depending on your location, Priority Mail is feasible at the amount paid, in which case your item will be shipped that way. If you feel the shipping charge is too high, contact me prior to bidding, and I may be able to make an adjustment. If you would like your item shipped by another method (UPS, FedEx, etc), contact me and I will try to accommodate your request. We are happy to combine items to reduce shipping when it doesn't compromise the safety of the items being shipped. Please note that some heavier items may require additional shipping costs west of the Mississippi River; please contact me for a revised shipping quote.

Handling:

Each item is carefully packaged to ensure safe arrival at its destination. With the cost of boxes, bubble wrap, peanuts, tape, etc., I often spend more on shipping/handling than the buyer is charged.  I usually ship within two business days of the close of auction.  I will notify you if it will run later than that for any reason.
