The Akira class starship made her triumphant appearance in the 1996 movie "First Contact" and very quickly became a fan favorite, appearing in episodes of Deep Space Nine, Voyager, and even recently in Picard.  A tough ship that was clearly designed with protection in mind, she was armed to the teeth with multiple torpedo launchers and fighter shuttle bays.  This is a 1/2500 scale resin model of that tough not-so-little ship, approximately 7 inches long in this scale, with 4 easy to assemble 3d printed resin pieces and a waterslide decal sheet with pre-curved escape pods to make them easier to apply and two canon name options to choose from.
Final photo in the image list above shows her with the other in-scale "class of 96" starships - these are NOT part of the auction, but they will be available soon!

*A note about 3d printed resin models:   All 3d models will have small "bumps" from the printing support structure that you will need to sand off; this is best achieved with simple padded nail sanding files or modeler's sanding sticks.  The 3d printed resin models I sell are washed in 99% IPA and cured under UV light before shipping, but you may want to allow them to sit in the sun or under a UV source for 5 minutes or so for final post curing if you feel there is any tackiness to the resin surface (there shouldn't be).  All resin models, regardless of design, should be washed with a mild abrasive such as Comet or Barkeepers friend before priming and painting.*
