For your kind consideration is this CGC 9.2/NM- (near mint minus) copy of Man-Thing #1 with white pages from 1974. This is the first issue in Man-Thing's first solo series. It also features the 2nd appearance of Howard the Duck and a classic Frank Brunner cover.

Please take advantage of the fact that I will entertain all serious offers for this book by making me one. I am of the firm belief that negotiating (or haggling if you prefer) over the price of comic books is a time-honored tradition that makes the transactional experience more enjoyable for buyer and seller alike. That's just my asinine way to say, "Haggling's fun."

In light of the recent re-holder scam, among others, at CGC, all I can do is give you the history of how this book came to me and came to be slabbed. I purchased it, raw, from a seller on eBay on June 28, 2023. I then cleaned and pressed the book myself and it was slabbed on April 10, 2024 as revealed by looking up its certification # (4394598006) on either CGC's or GoCollect's website. You can also access the grader's notes at either site.  The book/slab has been in my possession since its purchase date. I understand that I am asking you to trust me when trust is in short supply within the comic collecting community right now. All I can do is refer you to my feedback and offer to answer any questions you might have.

FYI, I include a raw mystery book with every slab I sell, usually from the same title...just something to consider.

Your newly acquired NM- copy of Man-Thing 1 will be shipped to you no later than the day after receiving payment (unless, of course, that day is a Sunday), double-boxed, and surrounded with enough bubble wrap to protect Donatello's (the Renaissance artist, not the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle)  sculpture of St. George. Seriously, I use an artistic amount of the stuff.

Please check out my other listings. I add new books all the time.

Finally, thanks for your time and consideration, both are greatly appreciated.
