Multi-coloured central design with birds standing on trees/ bushes

surrounded by a wide floral border.

The colours are vibrant and strong and the rim is hand painted in a brown-black.

Stamped in black on the reverse ‘Waring & Gillow Ltd, Oxford St. London;

Spode Copeland China England.

In good condition with any wear in keeping with age and use;

no cracks; rings true; very light utensil wear marks;

some wear to the rim, including a couple of small chips (photo 12).
