Here is a repurposed ribbon microphone by Eight Button Mics. This Ex-AT model has been constructed from the following components.

The body and ribbon motor from a Chinese active ribbon microphone.

The transformer is by F.A.B. Microphones. A U.K. manufacturer of hand wound transformers.

This was originally a copy/clone of a Audio Technica active ribbon microphone. When it came to me as a B stock item the preamp was defective and producing a poor signal. So it was repurpose time!

The preamp section was removed and a USA limited edition transformer from F.A.B. connected to the existing long ribbon motor to produce an excellent sounding passive ribbon mic.

It comes in a camera style case with shock mount, zip pouch and wind baffle.
