One of numerous variant issues by this publisher, this version with the tracks of two explorers noted below the color key bottom left which shows colonial power possessions. These explorers were Germans G. Rohlf 1866-7 and G. Nachtigal 1869-73. Excellent level of detail across the interior depicted.

Paper and image remains clean and well preserved with a fine patina and visual appeal, scattered light spotting in blank margins.
