We found only one comparable: A Tiffany & Co cigar ashtray (also listed as a “rose bowl”). To be honest we are not sure exactly what it’s for but I’m sure it can be repurposed for a multitude of things today. Bearing the hallmark of renowned maker John Hasselbring who worked from 1890-1955 and was subsequently bought out by Crown Silver. He was known for small holloware and table accessories.

This beautifully crafted item does not appear to have been used at all let alone as an ashtray and is in wonderful shape. It’s approximately 4.5 inches wide and 1 inch in height and weighs 106 grams. No monograms or other personalizations.
