This listing is for the 2017  BIG COIN set with 6 x 5 oz silver coins.  Each has the Colville designs that graced the original 1967 centennial coins.   The coins are each double-dated on the reverse. The obverse has the Arnold Machin effigy of the Queen that was appropriate for 1967 coins.   The 6 coins are each minted in pure silver with selective gold plating and in proof finish with mirror background. The coins are encapsulated and each is set into the six-coin tray that comes out or can be mounted on an angle for display.  The gorgeous wooden case is surrounded by an attractive coloured cardboard box. Mintage is limited to only 2,150 and also included are the uniquely numbered certificates of authenticity - one per coin.

The image is enhanced by the application of selective gold plating over the bobcat and all along the coin's rim. The third coin re-creates the unforgettable 1967 10-cent circulation coin design by Canadian artist Alex Colville, and features the side profile of a mackerel. The fourth coin re-creates the beloved 1967 five-cent circulation coin design by Canadian artist Alex Colville, and features the side profile of a rabbit. The image is enhanced by the application of selective gold plating over the wolf and all along the coin's rim. The sixth coin re-creates the classic 1967 one-cent circulation coin design by Canadian artist Alex Colville, and features a full front profile of a rock dove in flight on outstretched wings. Meticulously engraved, this re-creation of the original design allows for a more detailed view of some of the finer details such as its tail and wing feathers. The image is enhanced by the application of selective gold plating over the bird and all along the coin's rim.
