A republication, by Olana Gallery in 1980, of an exceedingly rare item published by the author in 1872. Comprised of 72 small stone lithographic reproductions of studio paintings by the author / illustrator. These pictures had previously been dispersed at a public sale (1871). This small remembrance of the paintings in that sale, created from drawings he had made of each of the paintings prior to the auction, is here reproduced to scale. The images are lighter than the originals and lack the tonality.
