German origin, very probably from Erzegebirge area, dating first half of XX century.

The pieces have been carved in a "folk" style and the Pawns have funny expressions.

Each piece is individually carved, no one is same as another.

One side is in natural wooden color, the other is brown stained.

The King is 15,5 cm high and has a base diameter of 4,5 cm.

All pieces have a green felt under the base.

The set is in superb conditions, I didn't find any damage on any piece.
