Description
A stunning and rare Novelty solid silver combination vesta case in the form of a go to bed chamberstick,
with round loop finger holder to the back, candle holder to the centre and a H section support at each end
to rest your spent matches.
To the front is an opening flap which is semi sprung loaded and reveals a compartment for storing matches,
and to the side is a ribbed striking plate.
This rare and desirable novelty vesta case is made of thick gauge silver and to a very high standard
and would make a great present or addition to any collection.
With Clear hallmarks for London assay office, date letter h for 1903, good silversmith Stuart Clifford.
