Schwerpunkt 80?er Jahre.Es ist eine bunte Mischung aus OriginalProps, Props die aus original Formen kommen oder aus Formen, die von original Props angefertigt wurden.Als Maskenbildner habe ich alle diese Artefakte professionell restauriert und zur Präsentation aufbereitet. Alle Masken und Props sind zur Bewahrung ihrer Form Schaumgefüllt oder auf stabile Untergründe montiert.

 

I'm dissolving the main part of my masks and props collection from the horror / SF and fantasy film sectors. Focus on the 80s.
It is a colorful mix of original props, props that come from original molds or molds that were made from original props.
As a makeup artist, I professionally restored all of these artifacts and prepared them for presentation. 
All masks and props are foam-filled or mounted on stable surfaces to maintain their shape.

 

THE 7 FACES OF DR.LAO 1964 – Schlangenkopf

( Der mysteriöse Dr.Lao)

In der "Mysteriöse Dr.Lao" kommt ein Zirkus in eine kleine amerikanische Vorstadt und hält den überheblichen Bewohnern einen Spiegel vors Gesicht. In dieser Fable spielt Tony Randall (aus Komödien mit Rock Hudson und Doris Day bekannt) 6 verschiedene Rollen, ebenfalls gibt es eine sprechende Riesenschlange im Zirkus, die verblüffende Ähnlichkeit mit dem Bürgermeister des kleinen Dorfes aufweist. Geschaffen wurde diese Riesenschlange als Handpuppe von Spezial Effekt Künstler Wah Chang (1917-2003), der für viele große Hollywoodproduktionen Requisiten und Effekte kreierte (Die Zehn Gebote / Der König und Ich).Dies ist ein Latexkopie des Schlangenkopfes aus der original Form von 1964.Der Kopf kam unbemalt und wurde von mir ausgeschäumt, bemalt und mit Glasaugen bestückt.

 

THE 7 FACES OF DR. LAO 1964 – Snake Head

In the "Mysterious Dr.Lao" a circus comes to a small American suburb and holds a mirror in front of the arrogant residents' faces. 
In this fable, Tony Randall (known from comedies with Rock Hudson and Doris Day) plays 6 different roles, and there is also a 
talking giant snake in the circus who bears a striking resemblance to the mayor of the small village. This giant snake was created 
as a hand puppet by special effects artist Wah Chang (1917-2003), who created props and effects for many major Hollywood productions 
(The Ten Commandments / The King and I).
This is a latex copy of the snake head from the original 1964 mold.
The head came unpainted and was foamed, painted and fitted with glass eyes by me.
