This is a Georgian, muti spiral air twist wine glass dating from the middle of the 18th century, c1750.

The glass is in chipped condition.  It shows age related wear and tear to the rim of the foot consistent with some 270 years of use.  It has a rough pontil mark on the underside of the foot.

The glass has a trumpet-shaped bowl measuring 7.8 cm (3.1 inches) in diameter at the rim.  The bowl is plain and sits on a multi spiral air twist stem and a conical foot which also measures 7.8 cm (3.1 inches) in diameter.  The glass is an elegant 18.8 cm (7.7 inches) in height. There are two flake chips to the underside edge of the foot, one measuring 3 mm and one measuring 4 mm in width.  There are no other chips, cracks, scratches or any obvious signs of restoration.  There is a small unburst bubble and a few tiny inclusions in the metal of the bowl dating from manufacture.
