We believe in providing the same level of support & transparency we ourselves expect from other sellers on Ebay. We hope the following FAQs are helpful to you.

Postage & Packaging 

How have postage costs been established? - They have been checked and compared with Royal Mail, MyHermes and Other Couriers, and other leading providers and also compared to leading retailers such as ASOS, AMAZON, PRET-A-PORTER Etc.

What do postage costs include? - (1) actual postage costs (2) packaging (3) Insurance for higher value items (4) extra fees we need to pay (i.e. Ebay fees charged on postage). 
We can only keep item prices low but charging Postage, Packaging & Fees at cost.

Can I negotiate postage costs after bidding on an item? - No. These costs are fixed unfortunately. The bargain is normally obtained on the actual price of the item. We have had a couple of occasions where we found cheaper postage by the time the item was sent. Where this was a large enough difference we refunded the buyer who enjoyed the item purchased even more, and that's the way we like it. What we don't like is when buyers try to obtain a postage discount, and then leave us untruthful negative feedback when they don't get it. This, as has been the case very recently, is always formally reported to Ebay. Extortion, aggression and dishonesty will never be tolerated.

Why are there different postal options on the listing? - both Royal Mail and My Hermes have reduced the level of compensation for items with value over £20.00. As a result we have provided postal options in some circumstances. Where these are not provided it is because we do not think it is worth taking the risk sending with non-trackable mail. 

Can items be tracked, or proof of postage obtained? - We obtain proof of postage for all items shipped, so in the rare occasions that items are lost full compensation can be obtained from Royal Mail or respective courier.

When are items shipped? - Items bought and paid on the same day will be shipped within 24 hrs where possible, otherwise delivery service is 3 business days.

Why is there no International postage option? - We no longer ship certain items internationally as postage is very expensive & item tracking very difficult. If you live outside of the UK and you desperately want this item please send us a message with your location and we will do our best to provide options where possible.

Some other small, but important things...

What happens to Unpaid Items? - These are automatically recorded with Ebay so please don't bid unless you intend to pay straight away. If an item is bid on but not paid within a reasonable time, we reserve the right to (1) re-list the item and sell it elsewhere (2) ban non-paying-buyers from bidding on our items in the future. Most sellers now ban buyers with 2 or more unpaid items so please do the honest thing. Karma records everything.

Why aren't refunds allowed? - We are clearing out our belongings and not running a business so we prefer a quick efficient sale. Please ensure you know what you are buying. If the listing isn't clear just ask us. If you buy an item and change your mind or decide you do not like it, please don't try to threaten us in order to return it. You may find re-listing it a better solution with a more positive outcome.

Can I promise positive feedback in exchange for taking an item back & obtaining a refund ?- No. We're not that easily swayed, or that gullible or that easy to extort. Feedback threats or other forms of extortion are always reported to Ebay. 
  
Can I bid if I have had negative feedback? - We understand that Ebayers can sometimes be dishonest and untruthful with their comments so we always try not to discriminate. If however you have had more than a fair share of negative feedback, please do not bid as these will unfortunately be cancelled.

Why so many positive comments about FREE GIFTS? - This is our fault. It is true. We have often thanked our most polite, honest and pleasant buyers with FREE GIFTS of all sorts. We will continue to do so until we have completed our de-clutter, and sincerely hope there will be many more buyers to merit our free-gifting service...
