Original, postcard-sized, medium format 3.25 x 5.5" film negative. Photographed at Indianapolis IN in 1928 by the documentary photographer Charles Medin. The Scottish Rite Cathedral was built between 1927-1929. This view is from North Street near Meridian Street.
Charles Medin was artist/photographer and then assistant editor of the Illinois Central Magazine, circa 1900s to 1949. His images are well-known to railfans as he documented railroads and city street scenes across the Eastern & Southern states.
