This beautiful Japanese silk Kimono Obi is a stunning piece of art. Handmade in Japan, it features a beautiful gold color that adds a touch of elegance to any room. The primary material is silk and fabric, making it a durable and high-quality item.

This is a Kimono Obi, which is a traditional Japanese garment. The exact age is unknown, but it's an antique original.  This Kimono Obi is perfect for collectors of Asian antiques or those who appreciate unique and beautiful items.

We were stationed in Japan in the early 1970s.  On base there was a special store that sold Japanese items mostly new but also some old items. I believe this is where my mother bought it which is why it has an English label on it stating it was an antique silk Kimono Obi, and it would need to be dry cleaned.  This is in great condition,  however,  it has one stain on the inside which would not be noticeable if displayed or worn. Please see pictures.  Possibly could come off if dry cleaned. It is approximately 13' 7" long and 1' wide. If you look at the pictures it is silk, then material,  then silk. This is absolutely beautiful.
