There are many who will mourn the passing of good quality school knickers of classic style made from the 60's right through until the early 1990's.

Cherub made school knickers in many styles through the years but generally the most popular were those made from the 1960's with a wide double back panel, narrow elasticated waist and wide ribbed elasticated cuff legs and were made in a cotton/viscose fabric.

They were recognised as the premier schoolgirl's knickers for at least three decades before they fell out of fashion and manufacture. Many people of a certain age have mourned the passing and wished they were readily available once again. Now your wait is over.

These knickers are Replica Cherubs made in England by a small boutique manufacturer. They are manufactured from 100% soft cotton used in school knickers of old and are a heavyweight 255 gsm (grams per square metre) fabric with the classic rolled “pillar” type seams and a replica Cherub label.

They sport a strong but very stretchy tunnel elasticated waist with narrow 6mm elastic used in the original Cherubs and the classic straight wide double back panel “gusset to rear waist” style much favoured in the heyday of school knickers and favoured by generations of schoolgirls for the quality, comfort and wear.

These knickers have a ribbed gently elasticated cuff leg with replica 3mm elastic to give the same soft firm grip of the original Cherubs.

AS THESE ARE A LIMITED PRODUCTION RUN AND IN A LARGE SIZE THEY ARE PRICED ACCORDINGLY

These knickers are a full cut brief in a delightful school uniform dull Navy Blue colour, and will give literally a lifetime of service if treated correctly. Both the waist and leg elastics are delightfully firm but very stretchy giving the necessary firm but comfortable grip at both waist and legs.

They have the classic 1960's style double gusset going from the crotch, through the legs and all the way upto the waist at the rear of the garment.

This pair is the classic navy blue colour, 22 inch tag but they are extremely stretchy and will fit to a MINIMUM waist of 33 inches easily upto 36 inch waist or A UK women's sizes 16 to 20 (approx).
