Vintage Scuba DACOR Original Mechanical Series - 2 Sets!!
The DACOR Mechanical Series Training Guides were well-known in the 1980's. Many divers will recall them from their basic scuba course or remember them from the Dive Shop wall.
Each series featured a colored cut-a-way of DACOR Scuba Products - valves & regulators.
On the back of each sheet was a detailed explanation of how each item operated.
This was likely the best Scuba Equipment Training Aid ever produced.
There were several series produced as the gear changed over the years. However, each one provided a diver or equipment service person with the basic knowledge of scuba gear operation.
This listing is for a Genuine Original Mechanical Series CM-2 with six 8.5 x 11 sheets. They include Tank/Reserve Valve, First Stage Piston, First Stage Balanced Piston, First Stage Balanced Diaphragm, First Stage Balanced Diaphragm (different model), Second Stage Downstream.
This set is near perfect with no visible defects.
Also included is a clean, clear COPY ("copy" Mike!!) of the CM-4 Series, also 6 pages, which is similar but includes the Flow-Thru Piston, Direct-Acting Piston & the Balanced Seat Second Stage.
Great teaching aids and good for getting a better understanding of different scuba valves.
These also look super as a wall display.
A nice addition to your Vintage Scuba display, particularly if you have a UDS-1 system.
