Rarely available on the market despite its mass production is this 1980s micro cassette voice recorder/dictaphone. Sadly this is not a fully working model. It powers up with batteries and all of the buttons respond when selected but unfortunately the spool wheels don't turn in ether fast forward/rewind mode or play/record. The red record light does come on when selected though. This indicates some kind of motor/drive fault which could be simple to fix. Can be mains operated (no power supply lead) or two AA batteries. As you can see there are obvious signs of wear but the buttons are all there and responsive. Also includes jack inputs for headphones/external speakers and microphone. Also has tape speed selector and three figure tape counter. I was surprised how difficult it was to find other models of this type for sale, but I wish you good luck with any attempt to get this rare early dictaphone model up and running again.
