THIS LIMITED EDITION SET OF MINIATURE PEWTER FIGURINES WAS CREATED TO CELEBRATE LADY & THE TRAMP'S 50TH ANNIVERSARY AND IS SURE TO BE A TREASURED KEEPSAKE IN YOUR DISNEYANA COLLECTION!

This Disney Lady & the Tramp 50th Anniversary Pewter Miniature Set is a great addition to any Disney collector's collection. The set features beautifully detailed pewter miniatures of several iconic characters from Lady and Tramp, perfect for display or as a gift for any Disney lover.

THIS SET OF PEWTER MINIATURES HAS NEVER BEEN USED, DISPLAYED OR REMOVED FROM BOX BEFORE TAKING PICTURES FOR THIS AUCTION.

It has been in its box since I purchased it in 2005, sitting in a closet with other Disneyana collectibles I did not open.

This set includes: Lady, Tramp, Si and Am, Peg, and Beaver. All figures are under 3" tall.

THE SET COMES IN ITS ORIGINAL BOX (SEE NOTE ABOUT BOX BELOW) WITH A CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY.

NOTE ABOUT THE BOX: I purchased this item right away as soon as it came out, and apparently there was some kind of mixup at the factory when it came to packaging. So though the interior of the box is the Lady & the Tramp packaging, the bottom of the box says Fantasia on it. MISTAKE! I think they quickly learned of this mistake and future orders received the correct bottom. But because this was a packaging/manufacturing error, I think it makes it even more valuable. FYI.

Here's a little about the set from the insert enclosed with the Certificate of Authenticity:

If asked to name their favorite scene from LADY AND THE TRAMP, many people would pick the scene where Lady and Tramp share the string of spaghetti. Interestingly, Disney animators Ollie Johnston and Frank Thomas weren't sure this scene would work at all, thinking that it wasn't the most appealing situation for romance. Even Walt had doubts. So how did they make this scene work so well? The key was having Lady and Tramp convey the same kind of sincerity and emotion one would expect from live actors, believing it themselves.

The perfect moment is caught forever with this hand-painted pewter miniature set that also includes the wise and irreverent Peg, the villainous cats Is and Am and the muzzle-chewing Beaver.

Here's a little about Lady & the Tramp I found on Wikipedia:

Lady and the Tramp is a 1955 American animated musical romance film produced by Walt Disney and released by Buena Vista Film Distribution. It was directed by Clyde Geronimi, Wilfred Jackson, and Hamilton Luske, and features the voices of Barbara Luddy, Larry Roberts, Bill Thompson, Bill Baucom, Verna Felton, and Peggy Lee. The film was based on the 1945 Cosmopolitan magazine story "Happy Dan, the Cynical Dog" by Ward Greene, and tells the story of Lady the pampered Cocker Spaniel as she grows from puppy to adult, deals with changes in her family, and meets and falls in love with Tramp the homeless mutt.
