VERY LARGE ORIGINAL ART DECO GLASS SCHOOL/CHURCH LIGHT

XL size schoolhouse glass pendant light. Top quality hand blown marbled heavyweight glass.

Dating to c. 1930s. Rare and unusual original light fitting.

The glossy glass is all in excellent condition - no chips or cracks, just a few tiny nibbles around the fitting rim.

Lovely large glass, 38cm wide (15 inches).

Mounted on a solid brass domed gallery and complete with brass chain approx. 60cm drop. Can easily be hung to any length of chain. Brass gallery also in excellent condition with only minimal ageing. Nice and shiny.

Fitted with a solid brass bulb holder with an added earth connection to comply with modern electrical standards.
Will need to be wired in to your own ceiling rose.

Standard BC bayonet bulb fitting - bulb not included.
Bold Art Deco style, would look great in a hallway or entranceway, bar or hotel.
