Ricoh GR Digital IV, 10MP, Black, 3842 Clicks, UK Dispatch

The Ricoh GRD iv is the precursor to the Ricoh GR GR ii GR iii, the main difference is it has a smaller sensor compared with its bigger brother GR line. The smaller sensor of the GRD iv still provides great image quality and it also means that the depth of field is very good for street photography scenes where more will appear in focus than with a larger sensor camera.

The focal length is a 28mm equivalent like most of the GR series, nice and wide for every day photography and the F1.9 aperture is nice to have on such a compact camera.

The camera has a well engineered industrial design, ergonomically pleasing and very nicely made with a magnesium alloy exterior.  With features like snap focus making an early introduction here, the ability to shoot RAW DNG files and some nice colour presets for JPG shooters, the camera has charm inside and out.

This camera is overall in very good condition having only taken 3842 photos.  There are some minor signs of use, the screen is very good overall, some tiny bits of paint loss to the hotshoe, nothing that really stands out.   The lens ring is missing which is purely aesthetic.

Comes as pictured with original charger/cable, 1 x ricoh battery and 1 x 3rd party battery, USB cable.
