Up for sale is Cooking the Modern Way! This vintage advertising cookbook was published in 1948 by the Planters Edible Oil Company! This is a 40 page softcover cookbook filled with “129 Home Tested and Proved Recipes to Please Your Family” using Planters Hi-Hat Peanut Oils! The cookbook measures about 8½” x 5⅝” and includes many color illustrations and photos. As shown in the photos, the cookbook is in very good condition for its age with some cover wear and light soiling, including a little paper loss on the front cover and first two pages. The booklet is complete and remains stapled from its cover to its centerfold. It has clean pages with no writing, creases, rips, or tears. This vintage Planters Peanut Oil advertising cookbook would make a great addition to your collection!
