9 Volume Set – incomplete.
1930's Reprint of the 1867-68 Edition carefully corrected by Charles Dickens.
Original Illustrations by Phiz, Cruikshank, Marcus Stone etc. Clean covers in full blue cloth binding. Blind embossed decoration & facsimile signature to front boards.
Spines are decorated in gilt and blind stamped bands and scrolls, gilt titles, gilt spine ends.

- Spine – good condition – gilt titles and decoration to the spine ends, some folding to the spine caps, gentle fraying to one or two volumes.
- Joints – good condition – solid.
- Corners – good condition – rubbed and worn.
- Boards – good condition – front board with embossed Dickens signature to a smooth background within a scroll, all cloth with embossed or stamped decoration, the odd mark but generally clean.
- Page edges – good condition – top edges blue, others tanned.

Internally
- Hinges – good condition – solid and sound.
- Paste downs – good condition – clean.
- End papers – good condition – generally clean with some tanning or minor foxing.
- Title – good condition – generally clean.
- Pages – good condition – generally clean.
- Binding – good condition – pretty and structurally sound, with some wear.
