A Very Nice and Rare, Old, Authentic Soviet Epoch USSR Propaganda BRONZE Table Avard MEDAL
Inscriptions: "6th Winter Spartakiada of the Soviet People. To Commemorate the 27th Congress CPSU" Made in USSR of Bronze. Dimensions 2 3/4" x 2 1/4" (7 x 5.5 cm). Good condition – see photo for all details. The first Spartakiada of the Peoples of the USSR was held in 1956. This event were of huge importance for the Soviet sports. Everyone could participate in them - from ordinary people to top-level athletes. The number of participants, for example, in the 6th Summer Spartakiada of the Peoples of the USSR, was 90 million people (twice the number of athletes in the USSR in that time), including 8,300 Masters of Sports of the USSR.

I am selling this item from Ukraine now, the post is working a little slow, but as usual dependable. I was born in the USSR and I was 26 years old when Ukraine became independent in 1991 in accordance with Article 3 of Treaty on the Creation of the USSR (1922, December 30). I know very well the difference between living in a totalitarian country and living in a free one. These items are historical memorabilia, just to remember this time, so that totalitarian regime doesn't happen again in the future. I believe that Ukraine has the right to exist as a free and independent nation and I am participating in charity projects in Ukraine now.
