Ashley roof for what I believe to fit a MK 2 Austin Healy sprite, but am unsure as I don’t own one. Bought this as advertised to fit MG midget, but it doesn’t! (See pictures).
This (as you can see by the pictures) does not fit a mg midget MK 3 or 4 or Austin Healy sprite MK 1 or 3.
I’m still not convinced it will fit a MK 2 AHS but the lack of hood fittings would surges it will. Don’t know what else it could be to be honest.
It’s seen better days:
1) 2 Drilled holes in the roof, they had rubber bungs in them but were badly corroded. Not sure what they are for as they are not symmetrical!
2) Crack in roof (see picture) bought a fibreglass repair kit which will also be included in the sale.
3) one of the boot bolts snapped when being removed.
4) one original side glass is included but one is plastic.
5) all fittings included. This also includes the front roof clips. But bear in mind there are no holes for these clips to be fitted to. I bought them with the intention of fitting them once I knew were the holes needed to be.
6) boot lock key is missing.
7) one side were it would have been bolted down has cracked (started making a template for repair)
8) rear glass is in excellent condition and is worth the cost of this alone due to they are no longer available.
9) there are no seals (except the rear glass) as they all fell apart.
10) no roof lining.
Once fixed, repaired and painted this would be a great roof. New these are about £900 so with a bit of elbow grease can be a great roof.

Update: have been told that this will fit a midget or sprite with the side screens but not the Sprite Mk1 which has a different scuttle shape.
