American Software Corp. (ASC) published "Treasure Master" for the Nintendo Entertainment System in 1991, a platforming game with a contest gimmick that involved a password revealed on MTV at noon EST on April 11, 1992.  The password granted access to a sixth level of the game, and players who completed the game by midnight that day were eligible for prizes.  Details on who won the contest are scarce, but the game still exists long after the contest concluded -- it's a fairly conventional platformer, but the animation and music (by Tim Follin) are decent by late-NES standards.

TESTED AND WORKING with original box, cartridge, contest redemption certificate, NES disclaimer sheet, and Nintendo Power subscription flyer, no cartridge sleeve or manual.  Cartridge label is clean and colorful, with a bit of glue lift in lower left-hand corner and overlap from the mylar rental label wrapped around the right edge; casing has two other rental stickers on back side.  Documents are in good condition, clean and flat.  Box has visible edge and corner wear, some surface scratches and two rental/resale stickers on the face and left edge, with cellophane tape around the left side and a short boxcutter scratch on the top flap; it's otherwise in decent shape, colorful with no sunfading or major structural damage.
