1950s Olympia early model SM2 Portable Typewriter Black in Fitted Case Made in West Germany

Beautiful design and excellent quality. Comes with lovely little green wooden cleaning brush and case has matching green lining

The typewriter is working other than the carriage is not advancing when typing, I can't get it to move at all even with carriage release button. I'm not sure if it is locked or if it needs a repair. Keys moving nicely and everything else seems very good

In good condition for age, some light wear to the typewriter case and the carry case is a little tatty. Case has a good transport locking mechanism to hold the typewriter safe in transit
