This illustrated book measures 7 1/2 by 5 inches and has 245 pages. It is in fair condition. There is wear and discoloration on the decorative green and gold cloth board covers and on the spine edges. Inside the front cover is a private library label (see photo 2). Overall, the interior is clean but there is a stain that varies in size and intensity over the last 27 pages of the book (see photo 7). The other pages are free from writings or marks and are secure to the binding. 

 The book aims to introduce readers to the grandeur of Richard Wagner’s music dramas through a series of captivating stories.
