Broke the factory seal to find the edge not quite finished. if you see the pics you will see the burr was not properly fully removed. It would take very little effort to remove the burr or it can always be sent to Benchmade and be corrected. It's brand new and I didn't want to touch the factory edge. I sharpen kitchen/pocket knives on a Commercial machine regularly at our store and have gotten pretty decent at hand on my personal stuff at home. If you buy the knife and want me to sharpen it out I will for free.
