For bid is this antique 1850s Ambrotype or tintype photo of a young woman. Leather like outer case. Velvet like lining and brass frame border, 2 hook latches for closure. It appears to have never had any hinges. Reads: “S J Thompson Ambrotype” on border corner. Case closed measures 3 5/8” by 3”. Overall very good condition considering age.
