This is a gorgeous vintage leather legal portfolio or briefcase that was made in California (USA) by Charlie Hontalas, owner of Pegasus Leather. In great vintage condition with no major damage. It has a center zipper pocket with a pocket on either side. This is not a hard case but it is very stiff coated saddle style leather. There isn't much give to it and it's rigid enough to knock on it!

In overall good condition with just some minor wear and scratching to the leather. I found this stored away with a number of other Pegasus and Remy pieces in an old southern Lawyers estate sale. He was packing it in and headed to the mountains for his retirement. I would call this a cognac colored leather. Please see photos and I have pictured the mark that I see. I did take photos with room light and flash to try to detail the piece a little bit better.

About me:

I graduated with a Bachelor's in Interior Design in '97. I worked in the field for 20 years successfully until having twins with medical issues. This necessitated my transition to a different kind of work and staying home with them. Recently, I have reignited my passion for design with my (mostly) vintage and antiques eBay business. I'm very small but I get to handle all aspects and make sure my customers are happy. I find it very fulfilling to find hidden treasures for others to enjoy! In a strange way, it keeps me in touch with my design roots and helps make a little money to participate in paying bills for my family. Thank you so much for looking and for your purchase, I really appreciate you!
