I’ve installed one on my own truck to show you how neat they are, while still being a pretty decent performance for the small size. When I put mine on I did need to Clip small amounts off at a time and refit each time. (they say, Pre-SWRed) but they aren’t really. Cut off about 3mm at a time is best. Ideally with a spare bit of copper wire if you can to get it perfectly, then cut the supplied whip to the same length as your test piece. You could use it without SWRing it but it’s quite a High SWR if you leave it Pre-tuned I found.

A neat little antenna, afterwards I put it in the middle of the roof and that increases the reception further.
