Lovely vintage solid brass letter box in a warm gold shade. This quality cast brass letter flap dates to the Art Deco period. The spring has been replaced with a new one and is in great working order, as is the knocker which moves with ease. The strike is original and the letterbox is designed to be fitted vertically. Fully restored and lightly polished by hand, supplied with nuts and bolts ready to install. Slight signs of wear from age and use.

Measurements are:

8” x 3 1/2” - 30.3cm x 9cm

Aperture: 4 3/4” x 1 3/8” - 12cm x 3.5cm

Distance between top two threaded bolts: 1 1/2” - 3.8cm

Distance from top bolts to strike bolt centre: 6 3/4” - 17cm
