Items story : The two-tailed Gecko is the rare animal, so it is belief that it will bring good fortune and wealth to one who owns it. So the two-tailed gecko is built in the sacred ritual as a wealth talisman.
“Luang Pu Liu Pannako”(Wat Rai Tang Thong) was born on Thursday, December 7, 1905 in Photharam District, Ratchaburi. “Liu” in his childhood had seen the hardships of fathers, mothers, and brothers, therefore diligently help their parents and brothers. He learned the craftsmanship along with farming. When grown up, “Liu” had to travel long distances to go to work, sometimes caused him sicknesses. Because of this, he had a lot of knowledge about herbal medicine. (Because Luang Pu Liu has a distinctive feature in himself that he has an excellent "memory"). Besides being a skilled carpenter, he is also a medicine man of Nong O Village, and nearby neighborhoods. At aged of 27, he was ordained as a Buddhist monk at Wat Bot, Ratchaburi and was given his formal Monks’ name of Pannako. Through his study with Karen teacher before his ordaining and meditation practices during his monkhood, Luang Pu Liu obtained the supernormal knowledge and the magical power. During Luang Pu Liu’ life and after his death, a lot of Buddha amulets and talismans were built with the belief that they will bring good luck, good fortune, and wealth to the owners of the amulets and talismans. Besides, the owners will receive love and mercy from other people whom they contact with.
