Little Blue John - c1930/40's Chiltern Bear

This is little Blue John. He is a sweet little poppet made by Chiltern in the 1930/40's. 

He comes in at 12 inches tall and is fully jointed.

This little man is just the perfect bear for those of us who like a bear who has lived a life, and was important enough to be loved along the way.

He's getting to become an old little John now so one of his ears has torn following a late night scuffle with a brut in his old hug. He has amber glass eyes, original facial stitching, excellent strong original pads, and is covered in a soft blue mohair, which has faded over time but he still compliments his blonde chums very nicely and is a gentle little man. 

He also wears his very own vintage cardigan which is just so lovely, I presume he's worn it for quite some time.

Little Blue John is shown here with his other teddy friends who are also looking for a home, and will be listed shortly (except Deans Bunny who sold prior to listing). Free from unpleasant odours.
