This is the original 1971 Brochure for the Full Line of US Models. The brochure covers the following cars:

·        220 & 220 D

·        250

·        250 Coupe

·        280 S, SE, & SEL

·        280 SL (last year)

·        280 SE 3.5 Convertible / Coupe (last year)

·        300 SEL 3.5

·        300 SEL 6.3 (last year)

·        600

 

1971 marked the end of several classic and popular cars. The Pagode 280SL Roadster / Coupe was replaced by the W107 350/450 SL. Also, the rare and powerful 300 SEL 6.3 made it’s final run for this year whose M100 Engine is today still highly sought after.

The 600 was the ultimate luxury car, to which today’s Maybach could be compared to.

 

The brochure is an fanfold-type foldout. All models are discussed in three to four paragraphs. The whole brochure folds out to reveal a large picture of the complete model line and includes discussion of the company history, technology, safety, and quality.

Condition:             Some light wear at the edges; very good overall condition with little wear.
