Very Lovely Antique Flow Blue CUP AND SAUCER in Royal Blue BALMORAL pattern by BURGESS & CAMPBELL. The Cup measures 4 1/4" across with handle, 3 3/8" diameter top and 2 1/4" tall while the Saucer is 3 3/8" diameter and 1 1/4" tall. The Set was made in Trenton, New Jersey, by Burgess & Campbell, International Pottery Company ('Royal Blue' or 'Balmoral' pattern), circa 1879-1888. The cup is decorated with rich flow blue floral and scrolls, accented with deep blue foliage outlined in gold. The scalloped edge has a delicate gold saw-tooth design with a matching saucer. No chips, no cracks and no repairs, but there is crazing on the plate, minimal gold paint missing along rim and handle, one manufacturer's dot on the plate and 2 manufacturer's dots on the interior of the cup.
