Everything works as it should. The bellows are in perfect condition with no holes. the focusing is smooth and tight enough not to change. Attaching this carriage to the column is pretty simple. One needs to remove the plastic bar held by 4 screws before slipping it on to the column. That plastic retainer is then placed back and will control how stiff the carriage moves to the right and left. The rod is held by 2 or three tiny hex screws.
