I AM NOT SELLING A KIT, only new, full-size copies of the large kit PLAN sheets to build a ROBINHOOD 99 model.

This Spoof Robin is a fun plane and a good grass field machine. The original color scheme is orange wing and tail and dark metallic blue fuselage. The ROBINHOOD 99 is close to a two times size ROBINHOOD 25.

The 4 full-size plan sheet drawings are excellent.

A historical note about the Curtiss Robin: In 1938 Douglas Corrigan became known as "Wrong-Way" Corrigan by flying a radial engine powered CURTISS ROBIN nonstop from New York to Ireland. Before his flight, the CAA (now the FAA) inspected his raggedy old plane and declared it unfit for trans-ocean flying. They gave him a one-time-only permission slip to fly back to California. But, in the dead of night, he took off and headed east eventually landing in Ireland! He claimed his compass stuck and he thought he was flying west to California when all along he was actually flying east to Europe!

He was given a ticker tape parade down Fifth Avenue---just as Charles Lindbergh had gotten in 1927, wrote an autobiography entitled "That's My Story", played himself in a Hollywood movie, bought a California orchard & became a well-to-do man. He never changed his story and he died happy and still famous for flying the "Wrong Way" in 1938!

(The Curtiss Robin also was used for the first aerial refueling and endurance flight over Hattiesburg, Mississippi.)

As a BONUS I include some very nice CURTISS ROBIN scale 3-views and other documentation sheets.

My last pictures show a picture of World Engines owner holding his ROBINHOOD 10 and a picture of the ROBINHOOD 10 PLAN sheet. I offer that PLAN and its large photo building instructions separately, as well as the ROBINHOOD 80 PLANS. Keep them in mind for a future build.

YOU ARE PURCHASING CLEAN, WHITE, FULL-SIZE COPIES OF PLANS AND A COPY OF THE BUILDING INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE ROBINHOOD 99 + BONUS SCALE 3-VIEW DOCUMENTATION, FOLDED IN A MANILA ENVELOPE.
