From a Connecticut Auction comes this PAIR of VINTAGE AUTHENTICAST LEAD SOLDIER SEATED MACHINE GUN OPERATORS. These well detailed figures are about 1 1/4” tall and 2” long including the length of the machine gun barrel. As shown, their feet are stabilizing two of the tripod feed of the machine gun in order stabilize the line of fire. Authenticast lead figures are generally acknowledged to be better detailed and more kinetic than most other lead soldiers of the era and these two are excellent examples of that.
