Bob "Bud" Mucci
Mucci posed for other studios, including Bruce Bellas and California Models. He was described in the June 1954 edition of Physique Pictorial as "a superb poser from Southern California. 170 lbs of muscle...." Bruce described Mucci as follows:

BUD MUCCI spent four years in the Merchant Marines. Bud is 29 years old, 5'9" tall, and weighs 175 pounds. He is of Italian-Irish descent."

Dave Martin
Fire chiefs, college jocks, delivery men—somehow Dave Martin got them all to take their clothes off for his camera. A master of shadows and light, Dave posed Bay Area athletes and common men as classical characters. Martin and his work were featured extensively in the 1999 movie Beefcake, which documented the careers of the muscle photographers of the 1940s, '50s and '60s.

Condition
This approximately 8-by-10-inch vintage photographic contact print photograph is beautifully printed on glossy stock and is in very good condition. There are a couple of small, very light dings in the print. Typical of these ferro type prints, this glossy emulsion has tiny spots of matte surface in the print. Quality and clarity are very good.
