This listing is for an antique bisque head German doll marked "Majestic Germany 2-1/2 Regd" on the back of her head. Reference tells me doll with this name was made by Kley & Hahn, 1907, but there is not too much about her so I can't be certain; it also attributes to Kammer and Reinhardt. This doll measures just under 19" tall being a bisque socket head with jointed composition doll body. I am selling her in "as found" condition, in need of some restorations. Her hands have been poorly repaired, and a finger is missing.  Body shows overall wear, paint loss and scuffs.  Please zoom in on photos to see details.  Her stringing cord may need adjusted a bit, the legs are a little wobbly. Doll has a "lovely" face with open and close brown sleep eyes that work fine, paint touch up on the eyelids, painted lashes around the eyes, brush stroked brown eyebrows, she has open mouth with upper teeth and a dimple in her chin, subtle rose color blushed cheeks. I lifted off the pate & wig to look inside the head with a light and do not see any cracks or hairlines. I left the top portion of the wig glued on the head, there are lots of locks of curls held with bobby pins. This may not be her original wig. She wears an antique dress that has brown stains throughout the right sleeve, I did not attempt to clean this dress, I do not know if it can be cleaned, you may wish to replace her dress. She wears a vintage slip, newer lace trimmed pantaloons, stockings and antique leather shoes. One shoe is missing a buckle.  I have taken plenty of photos. Please look at my photos they will serve as part of this description. If you would like further photos or have questions please email me. Offering to you as is condition shown with no reserve auction with Best Offer option. She did not come with a doll stand but does sit. Thank you for looking in!
