Complete three volume set of the limited edition Banned Book series published by the First Edition Library. Titles included are Lolita by Vladimir Nabokov, Tropic of Cancer by Henry Miller, and Ulysses by James Joyce.
These are facsimile reprints that faithfully reproduce the art, dust wrappers, and even the feel of the true first editions.
Ulysses is printed in blue paper wraps with the title in black on the front. Tropic of Cancer has illustrated paper wraps, and has a facsimile "For Subscription Only" band. Lolita has two volumes with green paper wraps. Books have matching light cloth clamshells, with gilt titles and dates on green morocco labels affixed to the spines.
Very good condition overall. Clamshells are in excellent condition with just a couple scuffs to the top edge of the Tropic of Cancer clamshell. Books are very clean. Ulysses has a couple of small, mild bends to the rear cover. Otherwise books are all in seemingly unused condition.
Books ship with signature confirmation in a well-padded, sturdy box.
