Toyota MR2 Mk1 for sale. Needs restoration, no MOT, hasn't run since before lockdown.
I was running this daily until covid struck, on last run out the day before lockdown started, the head gasket failed. The engine turns over on the key but assume it will need a rebuild.
I replaced a driveshaft when I bought the car, which required importing a pair of new shafts from America. The unfitted one comes with the car. The radiator was also replaced with an alloy one, I can provide the original if required.
Bodywork -
Never been welded or worked on before. Has a few dents as you would expect, small dents on both rear wings, plus another one by the sunroof.
Areas definitely needing welding / attention (there may be other areas that I haven't noticed) -
Rear wheel arches
Front wings
Sills (small holes on either side)
Offside front floor plan
Engine -
Head gasket failed, needs rebuild.
Turns over on the key.
Gearbox -
Drove fine, no jumping out of gear or weird noises.
The windscreen is cracked, but the rest of the glass is good.
Interior is complete but dismantled.

Body panels - Good second hand NS wing. repair panels for the rear wheel arches.
Viewing recommended. I'm about 5 miles from Stansted Airport.
Collection only, will need trailering away.
