ADD THIS UNIQUE DISNEY LIGHTED DIORAMA TO YOUR COLLECTION TO HELP CELEBRATE "YE OLDEN DAYS" OF MICKEY AND MINNIE!

This limited edition Disneyana collectible features Mickey and Minnie Mouse in a lighted diorama, celebrating 80 years of the iconic duo. Created by Randy Noble, this piece is a must-have for any Disney fan. This item is a great addition to any collection and is sure to bring joy to any Disney enthusiast.

THIS ITEM HAS NEVER BEEN USED, DISPLAYED OR REMOVED FROM BOX OR PLASTIC BEFORE TAKING PICTURES FOR THIS AUCTION. It has been in its box since I purchased it in 2008, sitting in a closet with other Disney memorabilia I did not open.

This is a very cool and unique item. It was created by famed Disney artist Randy Noble as part of the celebration of Mickey and Minnie's 80th Anniversary together. There is a special graphic imprint highlighting this celebration in the lower left corner of the diorama. Mickey and Minnie are both sculpted in 3D and are affixed to the back of the diorama as if they were floating. It's such a cool effect.

This is part of a limited edition of only 600 pieces made. It comes in its original box and packaging with a Certificate of Authenticity. The framed 3D sculpture is approximately 12” wide x 10-1/4” high x 3" deep. It can be hung on a wall or it can stand on its own.

There is a battery panel on the bottom which holds 2 AA batteries. The original batteries that came with it are still in the box, unused. The diorama lights up with a row of five stage lights at the bottom center by flipping the switch on the right side of the piece. (I included a stock photo of what it looks like lit up as I have never used this. YOU will be the first one to turn it on.)

Here's a little about the artist Randy Noble I found on the Qart website:

Randy Noble began studying the art of watercoloring while in high school and at the age of 17 he attended the Dayton Art Institute to further build on those skills. Thereafter, Randy attended the California Institute of the Arts (CalArt), a arts college founded by Walt Disney. While still at CalArts, Randy was hired to create character and licensing art for Inspector Gadget and other shows in the massive DIC Animation library. Since then he has produced designs and art for many companies including Mattel, Paramount Studios, Hanna-Barbera, Upper Deck, and of course, Disney.

Here's a little info about Mickey and Minnie Mouse from Wikipedia:

Mickey Mouse is an American cartoon character co-created in 1928 by Walt Disney and Ub Iwerks. The longtime icon and mascot of The Walt Disney Company, Mickey is an anthropomorphic mouse who typically wears red shorts, large yellow shoes, and white gloves. Inspired by such silent film personalities as Charlie Chaplin and Douglas Fairbanks, Mickey is traditionally characterized as a sympathetic underdog who gets by on pluck and ingenuity in the face of challenges bigger than himself. The character's depiction as a small mouse is personified through his diminutive stature and falsetto voice, the latter of which was originally provided by Disney. Mickey is one of the world's most recognizable and universally acclaimed fictional characters of all time.

Minnie Mouse is a cartoon character created by The Walt Disney Company. As the longtime sweetheart of Mickey Mouse, she is an anthropomorphic mouse with white gloves, a red or pink bow, blue (or pink or red) polka-dotted dress, white bloomers and low-heeled shoes occasionally with ribbons on them. The Mickey Mouse comic strip story "The Gleam" (published January 19 – May 2, 1942) by Merrill De Maris and Floyd Gottfredson first gave her full name as Minerva Mouse, although this is seldom used.
