1930's - WW2 US Army Air Corps AAC AAF Fuselage Canvas Cut Roundel Early Trainer
Historic Original 1930's - WWII United States Army Air Corps AAC AAF Fuselage Canvas Cut Roundel Early Trainer Type with Yellow Back Paint Measures Approximately 12 /13 x 15 Inches - Likely a Wing Cut from the Army Air Corps Venerable Consolidated PT-1 Trusty but we have no way of knowing with certainty - This Design was Discontinued After May 1942 with the Red Circle being Removed, it is maintained in a plastic sleeve but would need to be cut free and carefully removed for framing (fragile), attempting to pull it out would cause further damage, Overall Average Issued Condition as Photographed with wear, loss of paint, cracking, and tears to the fabric as seen. A Great Candidate for Conservation and Framing for Display in a Library or War Room - Recent Estate Acquisition & Presented as Acquired, Rare (Photo 20 Digital Reference Only)
