Antique brass easel back picture frame, though has been used
as a dressing table mirror, with mirror plate fitted. The internal dimensions measure 8 by 6
inches, and it has a simple wire stand at the back, with brown velvet
panel. The corner motifs depict acorns
and oak leaves. It has genuine age to it
– I would think late Victorian or early 1900s.
In good overall condition – the mirror has a chip to the back to one
corner when the rear panel is removed, but this isn’t visible from the
front. One of the rivets holding the
stand in place appears to be a replacement, and is slightly off-centre,
although doesn’t affect how the frame stands.
