This is a nice 1654 Spanish 8 REALE Solid .931 SILVER Cob Coin. Lots of the detail still shows. This is an authentic Spanish Shipwreck Cob coin. This coin was hand struck and was made of SOLID .931 SILVER in Potosi Bolivia and the ship "La Capitana" sank on the way back to Spain. The ship went down with Several chests filled with silver coins, gold coins and silver bars and jewelry. This coin was in salt water for almost 400 years and still retains much of the detail.
